NJM2368

The NJM2368 is designed as a high speed switching regulator control IC which can operate at low voltage. It uses a totempole output circuit, so that it can drive an external power MOSFET directly. NJM2368 is suitable for applications of flyback type switching regulation of up to 10W.

NJM2368 has six features. (1) Its operating voltage is from 3.6V to 32V. (2) Its wide oscillator range is from 5 to 350kHz. (3) Its soft-start function. (4) Under voltage lockouts. (5) Bipolar technology. (6) Package outline DIP8, DMP8, EMP8, SSOP8. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of NJM2368 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its input voltage is 36V. (2) Its reference output current is 10mA. (3) Its output current is +/-50mA. (4) Its power dissipation is 700mW for DIP8 and 300mW for DMP8 and 300mW for EMP8 and 250mW for SSOP8. (5) Its operating temperature range is from -40°C to +85°C. (6) Its storage temperature ange is from -50°C to +125°C.

Also some electrical characteristics about NJM2368. (1) Its output voltage is min 2.45V and typ 2.5V and max 2.55V. (2) Its line regulation is typ 6.8mV and max 20.7mV. (3) Its load regulation is typ 5mV and max 30mV. (4) Its reference voltage is min 0.51V and typ 0.52V and max 0.53V. (5) Its input bias current is typ 5nA and max 100nA. (6) Its open loop gain is typ 90dB. (7) Its gain band width product is typ 0.6MHz. (8) Its maximum output voltage is min Vref-0.2V. (9) Its output source current is min 40uA and typ 85uA and max 200uA. (10) Its input bias voltage is typ 0.55V and max 0.65V. (11) Its input threshold voltage is typ 0.87V.
