NJ8812

The NJ8812 is an N-channel MOS integrated circuit that provides all the decoding and controlling circuitry for frequency synthesisers .NJ8812 is intended to be used in conjuction with a 4-modulus prescaler such as the SP8901 or SP8906 to produce a universal binary coded synthesiser for mobile radio applications.

Features of the NJ8812 are:(1)high frequency range; (2)low pin count ; (3)direct interface to ROM or PROMS ; (4)preset channel spacings 40,50,60kHz and sub-multiples; (5)high comparison frequency; (6)low level sinewave crystal oscillator input up to 10MHz; (7)systems clock available-constant data select frequency of 1.2 kHz(reference oscillator=4.8MHz); (8)microprocessor compatible.

The electrical characteristics(Ta=25) of the NJ8812 can be summarized as:(1)oscillator input:50~200mV; (2)max.oscillator input frequency:10MHz; (3)supply current:8.0mA TYP 12mA MAX; (4)max.counter input frequency:2.5MHz min.
