Description

NCP1417 is a monolithic micropower high frequency Boost (stepup) voltage switching converter IC specially designed for battery operated handheld electronic products up to 200 mA loading. NCP1417 integrates Synchronous Rectifier for improving efficiency as well as eliminating the external Schottky Diode. High switching frequency
(up to 600 kHz) allows use of a low profile inductor and output capacitor. Dual LowBattery Detectors and CyclebyCycle Current Limit provide valueadded features for various batteryoperated applications. With all these functions ON, the quiescent supply current of NCP1417 is only 9.0 A typical. This device is available in a space saving compact Micro8 package.
