The NAT9914APL is one member of the NAT9914 family which designed as one kind of IEEE 488.2 controller chip that can perform all the interface functions defined by the IEEE Standard 488.1-1987, and also meets the additional requirements and recommendations of the IEEE Standard 488.2-1987.It performs complete IEEE 488 Talker, Listener, and Controller functions and completely pin compatible with the TITMS9914A and software compatible with the NEC PD7210 and TI TMS9914A controller chips.
Features of the NAT9914APL are:(1)low power consumption;(2)performs all IEEE 488.1 interface functions;(3)automatic EOS and/or NL message detection;(4)direct memory access (DMA);(5)programmable clock rate 20 MHz maximum;(6)reduces driver overhead;(7)does not lose a data byte if ATN is asserted while transmitting data.
