The MX580 is a high pertormance three-terminal voltage reference which provides a stable +2.5V source for 8,10, and 12-bit data converters and analog funcnons.A temperature compensated internal bandgap operates from +4.5v to +30V and consumes only 1.5mA.
Features of the MX580 are:(1)no adjustments; (2)250V Long Term Stability; (3)1.5mA quiescent current; (4)+4.5V to +30V operation. The reference can be connected directly to a number of CMOS A-tO-D and D-to-A converters and is especially convenient in +5V powered systems. An inital untimmed accuracy of 0.4% and temperature stability or 10ppm/ allow adjustment-free designs in many precision appiicauons.
The absolute maximum ratings of the MX580 can be summarized as:(1)input voltage Vin to GND:-0.3 to 40V;(2)storage temperature range:-65 to 175;(3)lead temperature range:300;(4)power dissipation:350mW.Stresses beyond those listed under 'Absolute Maximum Ratings" may cause permanent damage to the device. These are sVess ratings only, and functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those indicated in the operational sections of the specifications is not implied absolute maximum rating conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability. The information given herein, including the specifications and dimensions, is subject to change without prior notice to improve product characteristics. Before ordering, purchasers are advised to contact the Sensitron Semiconductor sales department for the latest version of the datasheet(s).In cases where extremely high reliability is required (such as use in nuclear power control, aerospace and aviation, traffic equipment, medical equipment, and safety equipment), safety should be ensured by using semiconductor devices that feature assured safety or by means of users' fail-safe precautions or other arrangement. In no event shall Sensitron Semiconductor be liable for any damages that may result from an accident or any other cause during operation of the user's units according to the datasheet(s). Sensitron Semiconductor assumes no responsibility for any intellectual property claims or any other problems that may result from applications of information, products or circuits described in the datasheets.
