Ultrafast Rectifier, 8 A FRED Pt?

The MUR820PbF is designed as one kind of utrafast rectifiers with 8A FRED Pt. It is the state of the art ultrafast recovery rectifiers specifically designed with optimized performance of forward voltage drop and ultrafast recovery time. The planar structure and the platinum doped life time control, guarantee the best overall performance, ruggedness and reliability characteristics.

MUR820PbF has six features. (1)Ultrafast recovery time. (2)Low forward voltage drop. (3)Low leakage current. (4)175°C operating junction temperature. (5)Lead (Pb)-free ("PbF" suffix). (6)Designed and qualified for industrial level. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of MUR820PbF have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its peak repetitive reverse voltage would be 200V. (2)Its average rectified forward current would be 8A. (3)Its non-repetitive peak surge current would be 100A. (4)Its peak repetitive forward current would be 16A. (5)Its operating junction and storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 175°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics about MUR820PbF are concluded as follow. (1)Its breakdown voltage, blocking voltage would be min 200V.
