MS5534

The MS5534 is a SMD-hybird device including a piezoresistive pressure sensor and an ADC-interface IC. It provides a 16 bit data word from a pressure and temperature dependent voltage. Additionally the module contains 6 readable coefficients for a highly accurate software calibration of the sensor. MS5534 is a low-power, low-voltage device with automatic power down(ON/OFF)switching. A 3-wire interface will be used for all communication with a microcontroller.

MS5534 has many unique features: The first one is 15 bit ADC resolution. The second one is supply voltage is 2.2 V to 3.6 V.The third one is low supply current. The forth one is small size. The fifth one is no external components required.Besides, it alos has four applications: The first one is 15 bit ADC resolution pressure measurement and control systems. The third one is mobile altimeter/barometer systems. The third one is weather control systems. The forth one is adventure or multi-mode watches.

There are some absolute maximum ratings about MS5534.Supply voltage(VDD) is -0.3 V min and 4 V max.Overpressure(P) is 4 bar abs.Storage temperature(Tstg) is -20 to 70.Otherwise,there are also some recommended operating conditions.Supply voltage(VDD) is 2.2 V min,3.0 V typ and 3.6 V max. Operating pressure range(P) is 300 mbar min and 1100 mbar abs.Operating temperature range(Ta) is -10 min,25 typ and 60 max.Duty cycle of MCLK is 60/40% min, 50/50% typ and 40/60% max.
