The MPX906D series device is a silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor providing avery accurate and linear voltage output - directly proportional to the applied pressure.This standard, low cost, uncompensated pressure sensor permits manufacturers todesign and add their own external temperature compensating and signal conditioningnetworks. Compensation techniques are simplified because of the predictability ofMotorola's single element strain gauge design.MPX906D series are designed for applications exposing the pressure (P2) side of the device to water,water vapor and soapy water vapor.
