The MM74HC174M is designed as hex D-type flip-flops with clear and utilize advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology to implement D-type flipflops. It possesses high noise immunity, low power, and speeds comparable to low power Schottky TTL circuits. This MM74HC174M contains 6 master-slave flip-flops with a common clock and common clear. Data on the D input having the specified setup and hold times is transferred to the Q output on the low-to-high transition of the clock input. The clear input when low, sets all outputs to a low state.
MM74HC174M has five features. (1)Typical propagation delay is 16ns. (2)Wide operating voltage range which would be from 2 to 6V. (3)Low input current which would be 1mA maximum. (4)Low quiescent current which would be 80mA. (5)Output drive would be 10 LSTTL loads. Those are all the main features.
