The MIC5014AJ is designed for gate control of N-channel, enhancement-mode, power MOSFETs used as high side switches. It can sustain an on-state output indefinitely. MIC5014AJ typical applications include automative electrical load control, battery-powered computer power management, lamp control, heater control, motor control and power bus switching.

MIC5014AJ has many features. The first one is 2.75V to 30V operation. The second one is 100uA maximum supply current (5V supply). The third one is 15uA typical off-state current. The fourth one is internal charge pump. The fifth one is TTL compatible input. The sixth one is withstands 60V transient (load dump). The seventh one is reverse battery protected to -20V. The eighth one is inductive spike protected to -20V. The ninth one is overvoltage shutdown at 35V. The tenth one is internal 15V gate protection. The eleventh one is minimum external parts. The twelfth one is operates in high-side  configurations. The thirteenth one is 1uA control input pull-off. The fourteenth one is inverting and noninverting versions. That are all the main features.
