It use a PNP pass element that features Micrel's proprietary Super ßeta PNP™ process.MIC29712BT has many unique features: (1) fast transient response; (2) 7.5A current capability; (3) 700mV dropout voltage at full load; (4) low ground current; (5) (6) accurate 2% guaranteed tolerance; (7) no minimum load current; (8) fixed voltage and adjustable versions; (9) "Zero" current shutdown mode.
