Description

The MIC2571-1BMM is one member of the MIC2571 family which is designed as the micropower boost switching regulator that operates from one alkaline, nickel-metal-hydride cell, or lithium cell. This device can be used in (1)Pagers; (2)LCD bias generator; (3)Battery-powered, hand-held instruments; (4)Palmtop computers; (5)Remote controls; (6)Detectors; (7)Battery Backup Supplies. And MIC2571-1BMM has a fixed switching frequency of 20kHz and requires only four components (diode, inductor, input capacitor and output capacitor) to implement a boost regulator.

Features of the MIC2571-1BMM are:(1)Operates from a single-cell supply 0.9V to 15V operation; (2)120mA typical quiescent current; (3)Complete regulator fits 0.3 in area; (4)2.85V/3.3V/5V selectable output voltage (MIC2571-1); (5)Adjustable output up to 36V (MIC2571-2); (6)1A current limited pass element; (7)Frequency synchronization input; (8)8-lead MSOP package.
