MCVVQ201

The MCVVQ201 is VirtuoVue Digital Driver IC. It nterfaces to the host system's microprocessor to receive the digitized video information, and control information, via an SPI port. The device provides all the necessary timing signals to the LCD Display Panel. It also provides the digital video information to the 8bit DAC in the MCVVQ101 Analog Driver, as well as the backlight control information.

The features of MCVVQ201 can be summarized as:(1)Supports RGB and Monochrome VirtuoVue QVGA Display Panels; (2)Host Interface is via 5 Wire SPI Port; (3)Interfaces Directly to a 512 k*8 SRAM for Image Storage; (4)Interfaces Directly to MCVVQ101 Analog Display and Backlight Driver; (5)Interfaces Directly to a 1.0 k*8 LUT (Look Up Table); (6)Single Supply Required: +2.7 to +4.2 Volts DC; (7)Operating Ambient Temperature Range: 20 to +70°C; (8)100 Pin LQFP Package.

The absolute maximum ratings of MCVVQ201 are:(1)Power Supply Voltage:0.5V to +6.0 V; (2)Voltage at All Logic Inputs:0.5V to VCC+0.5V; (3)Maximum Junction Temperature:+150 °C; (4)Storage Temperature Tstg:65°C to +150 °C.NOTE: Devices should not be operated at these limits. The"Recommended Operating Conditions" provides for actual device operation.
