The MC74LVX14D is one member of the MC74LVX14 series. The MC74LVX14 is an advanced high speed CMOS Schmitt inverter. The inputs tolerate voltages up to 7V, allowing the interface of 5V systems to 3V systems. The MC74LVX14 is pin and functionally compatible to the MC74LVX04, but the inputs have hysteresis and, with its Schmitt trigger function, can be used as a line receiver which will receive slow input signals.
Features of the MC74LVX14D are:(1)high speed: tPD=6.8ns (Typ) at VCC=3.3V;(2)low power dissipation:ICC =2A (Max) at TA=25;(3)power down protection provided on inputs;(4)balanced propagation delays;(5)low noise:VOLP=0.5V (Max);(6)pin and function compatible with other standard logic families;(7)latchup performance exceeds 300mA;(8)ESD performance: HBM > 2000V; machine model > 200V.
The absolute maximum ratings of the MC74LVX14D can be summarized as:(1)DC supply voltage:-0.5 to 7.0V;(2)storage temperature:-65 to +150;(3)DC input voltage:-0.5 to 7.0V;(4)input diode current:-20 mA;(5)DC output voltage:-0.5 to Vcc+0.5V;(6)power dissipation:180mW.Motorola reserves the right to make changes without further notice to any products herein.
