MC3419L1

The MC3419L1 is one member of the MC3419 family which is designed as the heart of a circuit to provide BORSHT functions for telephone service in central office, PABX and subscriber carrier equipment. MC3419L1 provides DC power for the telephone (battery), overvoltage protection, supervision features such as hook status and dial pulsing, two-wire differential to four-wire single-ended conversions and suppression of longitudinal signals at the two-wire input, and facilitates ringing insertion.

Features of the MC3419L1 are:(1)totally upward compatible with the MC3419;(2)all key parameters externally programmable;(3)current sensing outputs monitor status of both tipo and ring leads for auxiliary functiins such as ground key, ring trip, message waiting lamp, etc.;(4)on-hook power below 5.0 mW;(5)digital hook ststus output;(6)powerdown input;(7)ground fault protection;(8)operates from single -20 V to -56 V power source;(9)size and weight reduction over conventional approaches.
