Description

The MC33886VWR2 is designed as monolithic H-bridge ideal for fractional horsepower DC-motor and bi-directional thrust solenoid control. This IC incorporates internal control logic, charge pump, gate drive, and low Rds(on) MOSFET output circuitry.

MC33886VWR2 has ten features. (1)Similar to the MC33186DH1 with enhanced features. (2)5.0V to 40V continuous operation. (3)120m Rds(on) H-bridge MOSFETs. (4)TTL/CMOS compatible inputs. (5)PWM frequencies up to 10kHz. (6)Active current limiting via internal constrant OFF-time PWM (with temperature dependent threshold reduction). (7)Output short circuit protection. (8)Undervoltage shutdown. (9)Fault status reporting. (10)Pb-free packagig designated by suffix code VW. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of MC33886VWR2 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be 40V. (2)Its input voltage would be from -0.1V to 7.0V.
