The MC33399 is Automotive "Local Interconnect Network" Physical Interface.The MC33399 is a Physical Layer component dedicated to automotive subbus applications. The device is compliant to LIN specification.

The absolute maximum ratings of the MC33399 can be summarized as:(1) Continuous Supply Voltage: 27V; (2)Transient Voltage (Load dump): 40V; (3)Wake DC & Transient Voltage (Through a 33kohms serial resistor): -18 to 40V; (4)Logic pins (Rx, Tx, EN):-0.3 to 5.5V; (5)DC voltage: -18 to 40V; (6)Transient (coupled through 1nF capacitor):-150 to 100v; (7)DC Voltage: -0.3 to Vsup+0.3V; (8)Transient Voltage: tbd; (9)Junction Temperature: -40 to 150°C; (10)Storage Temperature : -55 to 165°C; (11)Ambient Temperature: -40 to 125°C.
