Description

The MC33030 is a monolithic DC servo motor controller providing all active functions necessary for a complete closed loop system. MC33030 consists of an onchip op amp and window comparator with wide input commonmode range, drive and brake logic with direction memory, Power HSwitch driver capable of 1.0 A, independently programmable overcurrent monitor and shutdown delay, and overvoltage monitor. MC33030 is ideally suited for almost any servo positioning application that requires sensing of temperature, pressure, light, magnetic flux, or any other means that can be converted to a voltage.

Although MC33030 is primarily intended for servo applications, it can be used as a switchmode motor controller.
