The MC1458N is designed as a high performancemonolithic dual operational amplifier intended for a wide range of analog applications of summing amplifier, voltage follower, active filter, integrator, function generator. The high gain and wide range of operating voltages MC1458N provide superior performance in integrator, summing amplifier, and general feed back applications.
MC1458N has six features. (1)Low power consumption. (2)Large input voltage range. (3)No latch-up. (4)High gain. (5)Short-circuit protection. (6)No frequency compensation required. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of MC1458N have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be +/-22V. (2)Its input voltage would be +/-15V. (3)Its differential input voltage would be +/-30V. (4)Its output short-circuit duration would be infinite. (5)Its power dissipation would be 500mW. (6)Its operating free-air temperature range would be from 0°C to +70°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to +150°C.
