DescriptionThe MC14536BCP is one member of the MC14536 family which is designed as the programmable timer that is a 24stage binary ripple counter with 16 stages selectable by a binary code. An onchip monostable circuit incorporating a pulsetype output of MC14536BCP has been included. By selecting the appropriate counter stage in conjunction with the appropriate input clock frequency, a variety of timing can be achieved.
Features of the MC14536BCP are:(1)Last 16 Stages Selectable By Four-bit Select Code; (2)8-bypass Input Allows Bypassing of First Eight Stages; (3)Set and Reset Inputs; (4)Clock Inhibit and Oscillator Inhibit Inputs; (5)On-hip RC Oscillator Provisions; (6)On-hip Monostable Output Provisions; (7)Clock Conditioning Circuit Permits Operation With Very Long Rise and Fall Times; (8)Test Mode Allows Fast Test Sequence; (9)Supply Voltage Range = 3.0 Vdc to 18 Vdc; (10)Capable of Driving Two Low-power TTL Loads or One Low-power Schottky TTL Load Over the Rated Temperature Range.
