Description

The MC14518BCP is one member of the MC14518 family which is designed as the dual BCD counter that is constructed with MOS Pchannel and Nchannel enhancement mode devices in a single monolithic structure. Each consists of two identical, independent, internally synchronous 4stage counters. And MC14518BCP finds primary use in multistage synchronous or ripple counting applications requiring low power dissipation and/or high noise immunity.

Features of the MC14518BCP are:(1)Diode Protection on All Inputs; (2)Supply Voltage Range = 3.0 Vdc to 18 Vdc; (3)Internally Synchronous for High Internal and External Speeds; (4)Logic Edge-clocked Design - Incremented on Positive Transition of Clock or Negative Transition on Enable; (5)Capable of Driving Two Low-power TTL Loads or One Low-power Schottky TTL Load Over the Rated Temperature Range.
