The MC1413 is designed as one kind of high voltage, high current darlington transistor arrays. The seven NPN Darlington connected transistors in these arrays of MC1413 are well suited for driving lamps, relays, or printer hammers in a variety of industrial and consumer applications. Their high breakdown voltage and internal suppression diodes insure freedom from problems associated with inductive loads. Peak inrush currents to 500 mA permit them to drive incandescent lamps.
The absolute maximum ratings of the MC1413 can be summarized as:(1)output voltage:50 V;(2)input voltage:30 V;(3)collector current continuous:500 mA;(4)base current - continuous:25 mA;(5)operating ambient temperature range:-20 to +85;(6)storage temperature range:-55 to +150 °C;(7)junction temperature:150 °C;(8)thermal resistance, junction to ambient case 648, P suffix:67°C/W;(9)electrostatic discharge sensitivity (ESD) human body model (HBM):2000 V.
