The MC10EP16DR2 is one member of the MC10EP16 family which is designed as the differential receiver that is functionally equivalent to the EL16 and LVEL16 devices with higher performance capabilities. MC10EP16DR2 provides a VBB output for either single-ended use or as a DC bias for AC coupling to the device within the package. The VBB pin should be used only as a bias for the EP16 as its current sink/source capability is limited. Whenever used, the VBB pin should be bypassed to ground via a 0.01mf capacitor.
