MB87032

The MB87032 is a kind of 2-channel electronic volume controller. It is fabricated with the CMOS silicon gate process and is available in a 16-pin plastic DIP and a 24-pin plastic SOP package. It enables the selection of volume or balance in loudness and tone control modes. The controller is ideal to use in TVs, VCRs, and car stereos.

There are some features of MB87032 as follows: (1)TTL interface enables microcomputer control; (2)volume gain control range: 0 dB to 78 dB every 1 dB step (-80 dB in mute mode); (3)on-chip 2-channel volume control (L-channel and R-channel) for a balanced control mode; (4)tone control in 13 steps (tap point=-28 dB) is achieved by using an external condenser and resistor; (5)loudness operation is possible from 0 dB; (6)single supply voltage: +8 V.
