The MAX6952EPL is one member of the MAX6952 family which is designed as the 4-wire interfaced, 2.7V to 5.5V, 4-digit 5 x 7 matrix LED display driver that can be used in (1)message boards; (2)medical equipment; (3)industrial displays; (4)audio/video; (5)equipment; (6)gaming machines. And this device includes a low-power shutdown mode, segment blinking (synchronized across multiple drivers, if desired), and a test mode that forces all LEDs on. The LED drivers are slew rate limited to reduce EMI.
