The MAX3816A is designed as one kind of 2-wire extender device that can be used in wide range of applications such as (1)front-projector DVI/HDMI inputs ; (2)high-definition televisions, displays, and computer monitors; (3)DVI/HDMI cable-extender modules and active cable assemblies. And this device features compensation for cable capacitance with a guaranteed range up to 3000pF, typically beyond 5000pF.
