M62427FP

The M62427FP is designed as an optimum digital sound controller IC for home audio. This IC contains a 5-element graphic equalizer, master volume, sound and karaoke functions (voice cancel). It can control all of these functions with serial data. In addition to the tone control function, this IC provides adapter pins for digital surround, microphone mixing and key control and is optimum to the sound quality and sound field control of audio equipment with karaoke function.

The M62427FP has four features. (1)80-pin QFP package. (2)Capable of performing the following functions with serial data: 5-band tone control, surround boost (HPF type), surround (using external delay), vocal cancel (stereo), multilingual voice record switching, electronic volume 32 steps and port output 3 lines. (3)Supporting digital delay. (4)Adapter input/output supporting karaoke key control. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of M62427FP have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its analog supply voltage would be +/-7.8V. (2)Its digital supply voltage would be 6.0V. (3)Its power dissipation would be 1250mW. (4)Its thermal derating would be 12.5mW/°C. (5)Its operating temperature range would be from -20°C to 55°C. (6)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 125°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of M62427FP are concluded as follow. (1)analog positive power circuit current would be min 19mA and typ 40mA and max 55mA. (2)Its analog negative power circuit current would be min -55mA and typ -40mA and max -19mA. (3)Its digital power circuit current would be typ 0.3mA and max 1.2mA. (4)Its input resistance would be min 100kohms and typ 200kohms and max 300kohms. (5)Its maximum input voltage would be min 3.0Vrms and typ 4.0Vrms. And so on.
