LXT914A

The LXT914A is designed as one kind of flexible quad ethernet repeater device that supports full deplex operation at 10 and 100 Mbps. Its operating condition can be set using auto-negotiation, parallel detection or manual control. The encoder can be bypassed for symbol mode applications such as (1)combination 10base-T/1--BASE-TX network interface cards (NICs);(2)10/100 switches, 10/100 repeaters;(3)100BASE-FX network interface cards (NICs).

Features of the LXT914A are:(1)integrated LED drivers;(2)integrated supply monitor and line disconnect during low supply fault;(3)CMOS process with single 5 V supply operation with provision for interface to 3.3V MII bus;(4)configurable for DTE, repeater or switch applications;(5)configurable through MII serial port or via external control pins;(6)baseline wander correction;(7)100BASE-FX fiber optic capable.
