The LTC489CN is one member of the LTC489 family which is designed as the low power differential bus/line receiver that can be used in level translator and low power RS485/RS422 receivers.
Features of the LTC489CN are:(1)low power: Icc = 7mA typ.; (2)designed for RS485 or RS422 applications; (3)single 5V supply; (4)7V to 12V bus common mode range permits ±7V ground difference between devices on the bus; (5)60mV typical input hysteresis; (6)receiver maintains high impedance in three-state or with the power off; (7)28ns typical receiver propagation delay; (8)pin compatible with the SN75175 (LTC489).
