LTC1643

The LTC1643 is designed as one kind of PCI-bus hot Swap that allows a board to be safely inserted and removed from a live PCI-Bus slot. This device can be used in compactPCI compliant boards and PCI-based servers. Also this device has two external N-channel transistors, which control the 3.3V and 5V supplies while on-chip switches control the 12V and 12V supplies.

Features of the LTC1643 are:(1)allows safe board insertion and removal from a Live PCI slot; (2)works on either a motherboard or compactPCITM card; (3)controls 12V, 3.3V, 5V, 12V supplies; (4)programmable fold-back current limit with circuit breaker; (5)user-programmable supply voltage power-up rate; (6)high side drive for external N-channels; (7)12V and 12V on-chip switches; (8)fault and power-good outputs.
