Description

The LTC1278-4CN is one member of the LTC1278 family which is designed as the 1.6ms, 500ksps, sampling 12-bit A/D converter that converts 0V to 5V unipolar inputs from a single 5V supply and ±2.5V bipolar inputs from ±5V supplies. This device can be used in (1)high speed data acquisition; (2)digital signal processing; (3)multiplexed data acquisition systems; (4)audio and telecom processing; (5)spectrum analysis.

Features of the LTC1278-4CN are:(1)single supply 5V or ±5V operation; (2)two speed grades,500ksps (LTC1278-5) 400ksps (LTC1278-4); (3)70dB S/(N + D) and 74dB THD at Nyquist; (4)no missing codes over temperature; (5)75mW (typ) power dissipation; (6)power shutdown with instant wake-up; (7)internal reference can be overdriven externally; (8)internal synchronized clock; no clock required; (9)high impedance analog input; (10)0V to 5V or ±2.5V input range; (11)new flexible, friendly parallel interface to DSPs and FIFOs; (12)24-pin SOL packages.
