The LM385S8-1.2 is designed as micropower voltage reference which is two terminal band gap reference diodes that for applications which require precision performance with micropower operation. The LM385S8-1.2 provides guaranteed operating specifications at currents as low as 15uA. Some additional features are maximum dynamic impedance of 1, low noise and excellent stability over time and temperature. The advanced design, processing and testing techniques make linear's LM385 series a superior choice over previous designs. Its typical applications include portable meter reference, portable test instrucments, battery operated systems, panel meters and current loop instrumentation.
LM385S8-1.2 has four features. (1)15uA to 20mA operating range, 1.2V version. (2)20uA to 20mA operating range, 2.5V version. (3)Guaranteed 1 dynamic impedance. (4)Very low power consumption. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of LM385S8-1.2 have been concluded as follow. (1)Its reverse breakdown current would be 30mA. (2)Its forward current would be 10mA.
