The LT1780CN is one member of the LT1780 family which is designed as the low power 5V RS232 dual driver/receiver with ±15kV ESD protection that can be used in portable computers, battery-powered systems, power supply generator, terminals, modems. The power supply decoupling capacitors and charge pump storage capacitors of this device provide the low impedance in normal application of the circuit.
