Description

The LT1640HCN8 is one member of the LT1640 family which is designed as one kind of negative voltage hot swap controller that can be used in (1)central office switching; (2)48V distributed power systems. Also this device is designed for modules with a low enable input and the LT1640H for modules with a high enable input, and is available in 8-pin PDIP and SO packages.

Features of the LT1640HCN8 are:(1)Allows Safe Board Insertion and Removal from a Live 48V Backplane; (2)Operates from 10V to 80V; (3)Programm-able Inrush Current; (4)Programmable Electronic Circuit Breaker; (5)Programmable Overvoltage Protection; (6)Programmable Undervoltage Lockout; (7)Power Good Control Output.
