The LT1381CN is designed as one kind of low power 5V RS232 dual driver/receiver with 0.1uF capacitor that can be used in (1)portable computers; (2)battery-powered systems; (3)power supply generator; (4)terminals; (5)modems. And the RS232 line inputs of the LT1381CN have on-chip protection from ESD transients up to ±10kV.
