Description

The LT1341CG is one member of the LT1341 family which is designed as the 5V RS232 transceiver with one receiver active in shutdown that can be used in palmtop computers and notebook computers. And also it is fully compliant with all EIA RS232 specifications and operates in excess of 120kbaud even driving
heavy capacitive loads.

Features of the LT1341CG are:(1)one receiver remains active while in shutdown; (2)ESD protection over ±10kV; (3)uses small capacitors: 0.1mF, 0.2mF; (4)60mA supply current in shutdown; (5)pin compatible with LT1137A; (6)120kBaud operation for RL = 3k, CL = 2500pF; (7)250kBaud operation for RL = 3k, CL = 1000pF; (8)CMOS comparable low power: 60mW; (9)operates from a single 5V supply; (10)easy PC layout: flowthrough architecture; (11)rugged bipolar design; (12)outputs assume a high impedance state when off or powered down; (13)absolutely no latch-up; (14)available in SSOP package.
