DescriptionThe LT1084CT is designed as one kind of positive adjustable regulator that is designed to provide 7.5A, 5A and 3A with higher efficiency than currently available devices. Also this device is pin compatible with older three-terminal regulator, so unlike PNP regulators, where up to 10% of the output current is wasted as quiescent current, it's quiescent current flows into the load, increasing efficiency. It can be used in (1)High Efficiency Linear Regulators; (2)Post Regulators for Switching Supplies; (3)Constant Current Regulators; (4)Battery Chargers.
