The LT1072HVCK is designed as a monolithic high power switching regulator. It can be operated in all standard switching configurations including buck, boost, flyback, forward, inverting and cuk. A high current, high efficiency switch is included on the die along with all oscillator, control, and protection circuitry.
LT1072HVCK has ten features. (1)Available in miniDIP, TO-220 and TO-3 packages. (2)Wide input voltage range 3V to 60V. (3)Low quiescent current 6mA. (4)Internal 1.25A switch. (5)Very few external parts required. (6)Self-protected against overloads. (7)Shutdown mode draws only 50uA supply current. (8)Flyback-regulated mode has fully floating outputs. (9)Operates in nearly all switching topologies. (10)Can be externally synchronized. Those are all the main features.
