The LT1021C-5 is designed as a precision reference with ultralow drift and noise, extremely good long term stability and almost total immunity to input voltage variations.
LT1021C-5 has nine features. (1)Pin compatible with most bandgap reference applications, including ref 01, ref 02, LM368, MC1400 and MC1404 with greatly improved stability, noise and drift. (2)Ultralow drift: 5ppm/°C max slope. (3)Trimmed output voltage. (4)Operates in series or shunt mode. (5)Output sinks and sources in series mode. (6)Very low noise: <1ppm P-P (0.1Hz to 10Hz). (7)>100dB ripple rejection. (8)Minimum input/output differential of 1V. (9)100% noise tested. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of LT1021C-5 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its input voltage would be 40V. (2)Its input/output voltage differential would be 35V. (3)Its output-to-ground voltage (shut mode current limit) would be 10V. (4)Its trim pin-to-ground voltage would be Vout for positive and -20V for negative. (5)Its output short-circuit duration would be 10 seconds for Vin=35V and would be indefinite for Vin<=20V.
