The LP2981A-28DBVR is designed as one kind of 100 mA ultra-low dropout regulator that is available in adjustable version and in fixed voltages of 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 2.7 V, 2.8 V, 2.9 V, 3 V, 3.2 V, 3.3 V, 3.6 V, and 5 V. This device can be used in (1)mobile phones; (2)laptops; (3)personal digital assistants (PDAs); (4)digital cameras and camcorders; (5)CD and MP3 players applications.

Features of the LP2981A-28DBVR are:(1)available in the texas instruments nanostar chip scale package; (2)Fixed / ADJ versions; (3)output tolerance of: 0.75% (A grade) and 1.25% (standard grade); (4)ultra-low dropout, typically: 200 mV at full load of 100 mA and 7 mV at 1 mA; (5)wide VIN range is 16 V max; (6)low IQ is 600 A typ at full load of 100 mA; (7)shutdown current is 0.01 A typ; (8)fast transient response to line and load; (9)overcurrent and thermal protection; (10)high peak current capability.
