The LMV393 is designed as one kind of low voltage (2.7 to 5V) versions of dual comparators. It is the most cost-effective solution where space, low voltage, low power and price are the primary specification in circuit design for portable consumer products. They offer specifications that meet or exceed the familiar LM393/339 at a fraction of the supply current.
LMV393 has seven features. (1)Space saving SC70-5 package (2.0x2.1x1.0mm). (2)Space saving SOT23-5 package (3.00x3.01x1.43mm). (3)Guaranteed 2.7V and 5V performance. (4)Industrial temperature range which would be from -40°C to +85°C. (5)Low supply current is 60A/channel. (6)Input common mode voltage range includes ground. (7)Low output saturation voltage 200mV. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its ESD tolerance would be 800V for human body model and would be 120V for machine model. (2)Its differential input voltage would be +/-supply voltage. (3)Its voltage on any pin would be 5.5V referred to V- pin. (4)Its soldering information would be 235°C infrared or convection (20 sec). (5)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (6)Its junction temperature would be 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

The LMV393 and LMV339 are low voltage (2.7-5V) versions of the dual and quad comparators, LM393/339, which are specified at 5-30V. The LMV331 is the single version, which is available in space saving SC70-5 and SOT23-5 packages. SC70-5 is approximately half the size of SOT23-5.
The LMV393 is available in 8-pin SOIC and 8-pin MSOP. The LMV339 is available in 14-pin SOIC and 14-pin TSSOP.
