The LMC7215 is designed as one member of the micro-power, rail-to-rail CMOS comparator that can be used in (1)laptop computers; (2)mobile phones; (3)metering systems; (4)hand-held electronics; (5)RC timers; (6)alarm and monitoring circuits; (7)window comparators, multivibrators. This device has a greater than rail-to-rail common mode voltage range. This is a real advantage in single supply applications.
