The LM61CIM3X is designed as a precision integrated-circuit temperature sensor that can sense a -30°C to 100°C temperature range while operating from a single +2.7V supply. Typical applications include cellular phones, computers, power supply modules, battery management, FAX machines, printers, HVAC, disk drives and appliances.
LM61CIM3X has three features. (1)Calibrated linear scale factor of 10mV/°C. (2)Rated for full -30°C to 100°C range. (3)Suitable for remote applications. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of LM61CIM3X have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be from +12V to -12V. (2)Its output voltage would be from +Vs+0.6V to -0.6V. (3)Its output current would be 10mA. (4)Its input current at any pin would be 5mA. (5)Its maximum junction temperature would be 125°C. (6)Its ESD susceptibility would be 2500V for human body model and would be 250V for machine model. (7)Its lead temperature vapor phase 60 seconds would be +215°C and infrared 15 seconds would be 220°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of LM61CIM3X are concluded as follow. (1)Its accuracy would be max +/-3.0°C. (2)Its output voltage at 0°C would be typ 600mV. (3)Its nonlinearity would be max +/-0.8°C. (4)Its sensor gain would be min +9.6mV/°C and typ 10mV/°C. (5)Its output impedance would be max 0.8kohms. (6)Its quiescent current would be typ 82uA and max 125uA. (7)Its change of quiescent current would be typ +/-5uA. (8)Its temperature coefficient of quiescent current would be typ 0.2uA/°C.
