Description

The LM4890M is one member of the LM4890 family which designed as the audio power amplifier primarily designed for demanding applications in mobile phones and other portable communication device applications such as mobile phones, PDAs, portable electronic devices. This device features a low-power consumption shutdown mode which is achieved by driving the shutdown pin with logic low. the LM4890 has two operational amplifiers internally, the first amplifier's gain is externally configurable and the second amplifier's gain is fixed by the two internal 20kW resistors.

Features of the LM4890M are:(1)available in space-saving packages: micro SMD, MSOP, SOIC, and LLP; (2)ultra low current shutdown mode; (3)BTL output can drive capacitive loads; (4)improved pop & click circuitry eliminates noises during turn-on and turn-off transitions; (5)2.2 - 5.5V operation; (6)no output coupling capacitors, snubber networks or bootstrap capacitors required; (7)unity-gain stable; (8)external gain configuration capability.
