The LM285LP-2-5 is designed as one kind of micropower voltage references. This micropower two-terminal band-gap voltage references operate over a 20uA to 20mA current range and feature exceptionally low dynamic impedance and good temperature stability. On-chip trimming provides tight voltage tolerance. The band-gap reference for these devices has low noise and long-term stability.
LM285LP-2-5 has six features. (1)Operating current range would be 20uA to 20mA. (2)Its 1.5% and 3% initial voltage tolerance. (3)Reference impedance would be 1.5ohms max over full temperature range. (4)Very low power consumption. (5)Applications include portable meter references, portable test instruments, battery-operated systems, current-loop instrumentation and panel meters. (6)Interchangeable with industry-standard. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of LM285LP-2-5 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its reverse current would be 30mA. (2)Its forward current would be 10mA. (3)Its package thermal impedance would be 140°C/W. (4)Its lead temperature 1.6mm (1/16 inch) from case for 10 seconds would be 260°C. (5)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
