The LM158J is a kind of low power dual operational amplifier which includes two independent, high gain, internally frequency compensated operational amplifiers. The typical applications include transducer amplifiers, dc gain blocks and all the conventional op amp circuits which now can be more easily implemented in single power supply systems. Besides, it is available in 8-pin ceramic DIP package.
There are some features of LM158J as follows: (1) available in 8-Bump micro SMD chip sized package; (2) internally frequency compensated for unity gain; (3) large dc voltage gain: 100 dB; (5) wide bandwidth (unity gain): 1 MHz (temperature compensated); (6) wide power supply range: single supply: 3 to 32 V or dual supplies: ±1.5 to ±16 V; (7) very low supply current drain (500 A)-essentially independent of supply voltage; (8) low input offset voltage: 2 mV; (9) input common-mode voltage range includes ground; (10) differential input voltage range equal to the power supply voltage; (11) large output voltage swing.
