LC74783

The LC74783 is designed as one kind of on-screen display CMOS LSIs that display characters and patterns on a TV screen under microprocessor control. The LC74783 and LC74783M display up to 12 lines of 24 characters, each in a 12 x 18 dot matrix.

Features of the LC74783 are:(1)display structure: 12 lines x 24 characters (up to 288 characters);(2)character structure: 12 (horizontal) x 18 (vertical) dots;(3)character sizes: three size settings each in the vertical and horzontal directions;(4)character set: 128 characters;(5)display start position: 64 position settings each in the vertical and horizontal directions;(6)blink: in individual character units;(7)blinking types: two types with periods of about 0.5 and 1.0 second;(8)external control input: 8-bit serial input format;(9)built-in sync separator circuit.
