LAN83C183

The LAN83C183 is a  highly integrated analog interface IC for twisted pair ethernet applications.The LAN83C183 can be configured for either 100-Mbps(100BASE-TX or 100 BASE-FX)or 10-Mbps(10BASE-T)Ethernet operatin.The 100BASE-FX is packaged in a 64-pin TQFP pack-age.

Features of the LAN83C183 are:(1)single chip 100 Base-TX/10Base-T fast Ethernet Physical layer solution; (2)dual speed- 10/100 Mbps; (3)half-duplex and full-duplex support; (4)ML interface for configuraton and status; (5)MLL interface to ethernet controller; (6)optional repeater interface; (7)autonegotitation:10/100,full/half-duplex; (8)meets all applicable IEEE 802.3 standards; (9)on-chip wave shaping-no external filters required; (10)adaptive equalizer; (11)baseline wander correction.
