L1085D

The L1085 is a positive and low dropout three-terminal voltage regulator with 3A output current capability.The L1085D belongs to L1085 series.

Features of the L1085D are:(1)very easy to use, it requires only two external resistors to set the output voltage;(2)low dropout voltage is 1.3V typical at up to 3A;(3)low ground current;(4)fast transient response;(5)current and thermal limiting;(6)line regulation: 0.5% typical;(7)load regulation: 0.5% typical;(8)TO-220, TO-263 and TO-252 packages.Applications of the L1085D are:(1)high current microprocessor supplies;(2)low voltage logic supply;(3)powering VGA and sound card;(4)portable instrumentation;(5)constant current regulator;(6)post regulator for switching power supply.
