KB3600

The KB3600 series is based on the general instrumont PIC1650A microcomputer,which is programed to be functionally equivelent to the general instrument AY-%-3600 PMOS keyboard encoder.This PIC-based keyboard encoder is designed to scan a 90 key keyboard,organized in a 9 * 10 matrlx,and output a 9 bit user-defined code when a key closure is detected.DATA,ANY KEY DOWN, and DATA READY outputs are all buffered and directly compatible the with any TTL/DTL or MOS device without the need for any special interface components.A simple RC circult ccan be used for the oscilllator input.

The KB3600 has 11 features.The first one is microcomputer-based keyboard encoder.The second one is N-key rollover or lock out operation.The third one is 9 output data bits.The fourth one is output directly compatible with TTL/DTL or MOS.The fifth one is output data buffer register included.The sixth one is pulse or level data ready output signal.The seventh one is any key down output signal.The eighth one is mask programable keyswitch debouncing period.The ninth one is Ascll or blnary (PRD) versions avaliable.The tenth one is auto repeat mask option.The last one is 4.5 to 7.0 volt operation.
